Howdy! I am new to this platform, and I am in need of assistance. I am looking for someone knowledgeable with a strong problem-solving ability to help me figure out a complex issue I am facing. Despite trying suggestions from a similar post, I am still unable to resolve the problem. The issue involves a Bobcat 751 with rectangular headlights that had a leak in a fitting to the control valve. After fixing the leak, the machine started making a grinding/whining noise from the pump, but all functions were still operational. However, the machine broke down while being used by a neighbor. Upon inspecting the machine, I found that there was no movement in the wheels, arms, or the bucket. After leaving it idle for a month, I returned to find that the grinding noise reappeared briefly before disappearing, along with the functionality of the bucket. The hydraulic oil level is adequate, and certain indicator lights are flashing. I am unsure if the issue is electrical or if the pump needs to be replaced. Any guidance or previous solutions related to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much, Mike! The trick worked like a charm. I removed the battery to access the shaft nut with a wrench, and to my surprise, the belt was hanging loose. I made sure the pump was moving smoothly and the pulley easily slipped under the belt while rotating. After adjusting the tensioner, I started the engine and everything is working perfectly again.
