Case 1840 vibration issue: Possible hydraulic pump problem?

Question:

Do you have a Case 1840 experiencing a loud vibration issue when throttling up? A thorough inspection revealed that the source of the vibration seems to be the hydraulic pump located at the back of the machine. Interestingly, when a pry bar is used to lift the pump, the machine runs smoothly with no vibration. Could this be a sign of a worn pump or a faulty engine mount or bushing? While no obvious issues are visible, any insight or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Inspect the rear engine mounts for optimal performance. Make sure to regularly check and maintain these critical components to prevent any issues with your vehicle's engine.

Hello Longhorn, welcome to High End Furnishings! Check out our selection from the parts book, including options #8 and #8.

I also agree with that statement. When my motor mount failed, the fan damaged the lower radiator tank and blew out the suction hose on the rear hydraulic pump. After repairing these issues and installing a new motor mount, the improvement in sound quality is astounding. I had a feeling that something was off with the sound, but I couldn't pinpoint the issue until these repairs were made.

Thank you for the responses, everyone. I will definitely inspect the engine mounts as recommended.
