I am in need of assistance with my son's 2000 Link Belt HTC 8640, as the hydraulic pump has experienced a blown unloading valve, resulting in noise and diminished performance. Link Belt has provided us with the part number #F7J0015SPL, priced at $19,000. However, they do not currently have it in stock. Unfortunately, the data plate on the pump is missing, making it difficult to find a replacement. If anyone has information on this model or the data plate, particularly if it may be a Gresen (Parker) pump, your help would be greatly appreciated.
If you're in need of hydraulic pump repair, a skilled repair shop should be able to fix or replace your pump. Drop it off at the counter and let the experts handle it. Keep in mind that the replacement pump may not be a Parker brand, as it could be from an aftermarket pump builder.
Does your pump operate using an auxiliary drive located at the rear of the engine? Is it positioned directly above the transmission?
Attached to the interior, as per his message.
The valve stack you see in the picture is not the primary pump being shown.
Apologies, that's the location where the unloading valve malfunctioned. He delivered it to Link Belt earlier today. I would assume that they are powered by a PTO system.
