Troubleshooting Cat 272c: No Power to Control Panel After Battery Replacement

Question:

After using my Cat 272c for a day on the job, I noticed a small leak. When I brought it back to the yard and inspected it, I lifted the cab to take a closer look. However, when I put the cab back down and returned to the machine a few days later, I found that it seemed to be dead again with no power at the dash. Despite trying to jump it and swapping the battery, there was still no power at the control panels. The machine would start and operate normally, but the panels had no power. All the switches, heat/ac, horn, lights, and parking switch were working fine. I checked the fuses, and everything looked fine. I'm at a loss for what could be causing this issue. What else could I be overlooking?

I do not possess a RED00735 item.

We greatly appreciate your kind gesture

Discovered a damaged wire beneath the cab near the 6 fuses located underneath.

I will still send you a copy just in case it proves to be useful down the line. Make sure to stay tuned to your messages for updates.
