Troubleshooting Volvo A25C Tachometer Connectivity Issues

Question:

The tachometer on my Volvo A25C with serial number 5350V11726 has suddenly stopped working and only works sporadically. There seems to be a complex network of wires connected to it. I am seeking guidance on troubleshooting and identifying the probable causes. It is possible that there is a loose connection somewhere among the various wires. Any help in pinpointing the issue would be appreciated.

The R11 rotational relay is a crucial part often in high demand but difficult to locate. It is typically the first component to fail in an A25C, making it a challenge to find replacements. Despite years of searching for an aftermarket alternative, finding a suitable replacement has proven to be unsuccessful. Volvo no longer carries the part, and motormeter has discontinued its production. If you are in need of this relay, good luck in your search as it is a rare find.
