As a long-time observer on this platform, I have been handling maintenance for my small contractor business, taking care of all my equipment myself. Recently, my 2001 753 Bobcat, with low hours, started experiencing fluid leakage from the control valve after a Friday usage. Despite infrequent use, I am the sole operator of this equipment and ensure its proper care. After researching on this platform, it seems I can tackle the challenging task of replacing the seals and O-rings on the spool valves within the control valve. However, I am uncertain about where to source the necessary seals and O-rings. It appears that I will require 4 green seals and 2 O-rings based on the information from other posts. I came across a complete rebuild kit on eBay for $110, but I'm unsure if I need all the components included. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
I believe they use a 200 series quad ring with a 5/8" inner diameter.
I recently removed the 863g pulled valve on my ponytl engine, and the process was smooth. However, I encountered detent balls and springs on the bottom shaft that needed attention. To make the task easier, I suggest unbolt the cover and hold it in place while removing the spool. Changing the seals and reassembling the valve can be done in a similar manner. Just my 2 cents on how to efficiently handle this maintenance task.

In Springfield, Missouri, I discovered a hydraulics shop offering to perform the entire job at a cost of approximately $110 (after removing it from the machine). You can find their contact information by searching for "hydraulics" in the Springfield Yellow Pages at yellowpages.com.
The thought of turning the valve is the absolute last thing on my mind... #bottomsup
